Manie Malone is an African-born French and Ivorian actress and screenwriter of Spanish descent. She gained recognition for her performances on stage as well in classic and contemporary plays. She is best known for her performance role in cinema as Nora in the noir crime drama African film Viva Riva (2012) which won six Awards at African Academy Movie Awards and was part of Official Selection of Toronto Film Festival (2010) as well as listed in Official Selection of Berlinale (2011). In 2021, her qualities to perform on an international scale have been expressed further as she stars also as Naomi Niang in the first season of Ubettina Wethu released in Africa via SABC1 and in Asia via ViuTV. She speaks English, French, Spanish, Lingala, Italian.
